sonnet #2

The hustle and bustle of spring work
Waking before the dawn to get ready
Being ready as long as you are working
Working after sunset always steady

Round after round up and down the field
Day after da night after night
The sound muffed the cab acting like a shield
Harvesting the crops late in the night

Break downs bring us down
Hoping for the best expecting the worst
Having to do repairs makes us frown
Always wanting to be the first

But it needs to be done before summer
It needs to be done now and faster
